rolled oats - 1 cup (100g)

unsweetened applesauce - 1 cup (200g)

water - 3 cups (700ml)

apple - 1 (cut into cubes)

ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.

ground cardamom - ½ tsp.

vanilla extract - 2 tsp.

honey - 2 tbsp.

pecans - ⅓ cup (35g)
Preparation Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients (apart from pecans) in a pot and mix well.
2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, occasionally stirring for 10-15 minutes. Add additional cooking liquid if required.
3. Serve topped with pecans and additional honey if desired.
