Ingredients

lean ground beef - 1 lb. (500g)

salt - 1-1 ½ tsp.

onion - 1 (diced)

celery sticks - 2 (chopped)

medium carrots - 2 (peeled

chopped tomatoes (canned) - 2-2 ⅔ cups (800g)

green cabbage - ½ (chopped)

beef stock - 4 cups (1 liter)

bay leaves - 2
Preparation Instructions
1. Heat a large pot on medium and stir-fry the beef until browned, around 5-7 minutes. Season with salt.
2. Next add the onion, celery, and carrots and sauté for another 5 minutes.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes, cabbage, beef stock and bay leaves, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes, until vegetables are soft.
4. Remove bay leaves before serving.
